A passion for all things Porsche.
That’s what drives Manhattan Beach-based artist Beau Robinson. He cultivated his love for the iconic German automaker by immersing himself in the world of Porsche, resulting in stunning works that capture both motion and emotion.
And this past month, Robinson’s work came to life at Porsche Palm Springs Modernism Week where he showcased his latest exhibition at the beautiful and luxurious Porsche Palm Springs Showroom.
A lifelong fan of fast cars and Steve McQueen, his art has been showcased at the Porsche Experience Center, Sofitel, and the PCA Concours D’ Elegance.
To kick off the two-weekend event, guests were treated to some delicious hors d’oeuvres from Sherman’s on weekend one that included Caprese Skewers and Chicken Craisin Canapes. For weekend two, the options were Pesto Parmesan with Sundried Tomato Pinwheels and Roast Beef with Horseradish Cheese on a Toasted Baguette. And it’s no Porsche event without some rich, flavorful wine. The list of wines included Rose, Prosecco, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Guests also had the choice of hard seltzer, sparkling water, and water.
Art and Porsche enthusiasts enjoyed these delicious beverages and food bites while taking in the beauty of Robinson’s art in a variety of mediums including acrylic, watercolor, pen, and paper.
